350,319. Air-port lights. TRIGGS, W. W., 57, Lincoln's Inn Fields, London.- (Ceskomoravskß-Kolben Danek Co., Ltd.; Czecho-Slovakia, Prague.) Aug. 6, 1930, No. 23574. [Class 75 (iv).] Lighting, systems of; devices external to lantern for transmitting light to definite points. - Air-port landing grounds are lighted by means of refracting units receiving light from an external source e.g. a search light common to a number of the units. A form of unit, which may be either a marginal light or a landing light, comprises a refractor 3, a concave mirror 1 adapted to receive a broad beam of light, and an intermediate plane mirror 2 mounted on a horizontal axis in the focus of the mirror 1. As shown the two mirrors and the refractor are mounted in a common casing which is readily movable.
