Abstract

A corrosion-resisting cast iron alloys contains 4-10 per cent of silicon, not less than 7 but less than 15 of nickel, 5-12 of copper and more than 1,5 but less than 3 of carbon. The alloy may also contain up to 2 per cent of antimony. According to the first Provisional Specification, the upper limit of the nickel is 30 per cent.
