[Class 122 (i).] The minimum thrust face of a trunk piston is separated from the head by a horizontal slot 15 and slit by a vertical slot 161 terminating short of the open end of the skirt. The slot 16<1> may be formed in a rib 16. Strengthening webs 11, 12 may be provided and the skirt may be recessed at 17 adjacent to the bosses. Specification 414,390 is referred to.
