Abstract

408,078. Pistons. BROOKMAN, O. J. R., 8, St. Albans Road, Watford. Jan. 25, 1933, No. 2406. [Class 122 (i).] A trunk type piston comprises a body consisting of a crown a with a prolongation b of smaller diameter. Outwardly extending spigots d are formed on a diameter at right angles to the axis of the gudgeon pin. The skirts or slippers are fitted to the trunk by recesses into which the spigots fit and are maintained in position by the cylinder walls. The position of the spigots and recesses may be reversed.
