Abstract

410,020. Aerating liquids. MOLANDER, P. D. E., 39, Kungsgatan, Stockholm. Nov. 13, 1933, No. 31623. [Class 14 (i).] Apparatus for aerating liquids comprises a container 1 provided with a cock 8, the plug of which is provided with a continuous horizontal channel 10, the ends of which can be made to communicate simultaneously with two channels provided in the cover 2 of the container, one of the channels leading to a tube 3 through which carbon dioxide is supplied, the other with a safety valve 11, and the channel 10 also communicating by an axial bore 14 with a tube 15 provided with perforations 16 through which carbon dioxide is forced into liquid to be aerated contained in a bottle. A second container (not shown) is combined with the container 1, and can be affixed thereto by means of slots engaging with a projection 22 forming a bayonet joint or otherwise. This second container serves for holding the bottle containing the liquid to be aerated so that the tube 15 projects thereinto.
