[Class 125 (ii)] [Also in Group XXIX] A filling nozzle for use with bottling apparatus having a valve opened by placing a bottle in position and comprising two telescopic members 2, 6, one of which carries a tubular valve member 8, has the two members joined by a resilient sleeve 12 which presses them apart and prevents leakage, and has a labyrinth joint between the members to prevent the entry of fluid into the sleeve. In the form shown a single expanded chamber 14 is used but several may be employed. The valve co-operates with a fixed seat 5 supported by a vent tube 4 mounted in a crown 3 used for clamping the tubular member 2 to the bottom of the vessel 1 containing the liquid to be bottled.
