553,355. Funnel for use in filling hot-water bottles, &c. REEVES, J. H. Feb. 9, 1942, No. 1685. [Class 125 (ii)] A funnel 1 for use in filling hot-water bottles and the like narrow-mouthed containers with liquids has three of more longitudinally disposed bridge members 3 provided upon the upper portion only of the neck 2 of the funnel, the members being adapted to engage the inside of the mouth of the bottle &c. to allow free escape of air, steam or other gases or vapours around substantially the whole of the circumference of the neck of the funnel. The web or bridge members may support a cylindrical member concentrically with the neck of the funnel; the cylindrical member may be threaded and is adapted to engage the inner face of the neck of the bottle, &c.
