Abstract

808,876. Bottles &c. DOMPE, F. June 7, 1957, No. 18250/57. Class 66. A container-stopper device comprises a container, which fits on the mouth of a bottle 11, and a capsule 5 with side ports 9, the capsule being designed to occupy one of two positions either to close the container or to permit free passage between the container and bottle. The coupling 3 of the container casing 1 is flanged internally at 4 and has internal threads for screwing on to the bottle neck. The capsule 5, has two annular beads 6 and 7 and a flange 8, the beads normally lying either side of the flange 4 of the easing 1. Axial beads 10 separate the ports 9. To release container contents, the container is screwed down, thereby causing the rim of the bottle to push up the capsule 5 so that the bead 7 rides past flange 4 and ports 9 are opened, as shown.
