Abstract

732,542. Stoppers with pouring apertures. REYNOLDS, J. March 5, 1953 [Feb. 4, 1952], No. 2942/52. Class 125 (3). A pouring device 3 for bottles &c. has a disclike portion 4 with a depending cylindrical part 5 having a fluid passageway 6 outwardly flared at 8 and containing an axially movable tubular liner 9, and an air inlet passage 7 with its lower end directed towards the container wall. Liner 9 may be omitted and the fluid discharged through passage 6. The container is closed by a screwcap 2.
