730,503. Drop delivery or pouring stoppers. BRUNE, H. March 20, 1953 [July 3, 1952], No. 7810/53. Class 125 (3). A polyethylene dropping or pouring insert 3, for bottles &c. with a retaining member with sealing flanges 4 has a liquid outlet duct 5 completely open or partly obturated with a small outlet 6, Fig. 4, surrounded by an annular chamber 10 having a cylindrical wall 7, a base 8 and air inlet aperture 9. The bottle may be closed by a stopper 15, Fig. 5, having a pin 18 to close the liquid outlet aperture 6. In a modification the insert has flow-retarding members in the duct 5 which may be tabs or threads or spirals.
