Abstract

102,119. Brewer, C. June 26, 1916. Stoppers adapted for discharging contents.-A cap or closure for a liquid receptacle is formed with a central aperture b which is normally closed by a conical plug a, the smaller end of which protrudes through the aperture b. while the opposite end c bears against a spring d. The plug may be mounted at the end of a tube f which extends into the bottle &c. and serves as an air inlet. The closure is particularly applicable to receptacles containing polishing-cream, but may be used on a sauce bottle. In the case of thick liquids, the tube f may carry a loose disk e which, when the bottle is inverted, falls and assists the discharge of the liquid.
