Abstract

463,118. Stoppers for bottles, containers, &c. REST, J. Sept. 27, 1935, No. 26795. [Class 125 (iii)] For the controlled discharge of the contents of a bottle, collapsable container, &c., there is used a closure member a adapted to be secured in the mouth of the bottle &c., and comprising a tubular part b and a cup - like closure member d rotatably fitted therein, the open side j of the cup being in one position opposite the discharge opening a<1> and in the other position open to the exterior, so giving access to the contents of the cup while sealing the discharge opening. A lug f is provided for rotating the cup. The parts a, b are preferably formed by extrusion ; when fitted one within the other, the part a is closed on to the cup b.
