Abstract
710,061. Container closures spouts. KRAUTKRAMER, A., and KRAUTKRAMER, L., [trading as BERG; KOMMANDIT.-GES., J.]. Oct. 14, 1952 [Oct. 22, 1951], No. 25673/52. Classes 66 and 125 (3) A closure for tubes, bottles, casks and like containers has a resilient spout 1 with a flange 3, groove 4 and collar 5, the rim of the container opening fitting into the groove 4 when the closure is applied and the spout 1 being closed by a cap 9 secured to it by a loop 10 to prevent loss. The spout 1 which is of a plastic or acid-proof rubber is closed originally and is opened by piercing or has a tear-off wall. In a modification the cap 9 is connected to the spout by a tear-off strip. In a modification of the closure when applied to bottles &c., Fig. 7, the groove 22 receives a rib 21 on the outside of the container neck.
