998,182. Dispensing liquids by fluid pressure. CHADBURNS (LIVERPOOL) Ltd. May 22, 1962 [June 3, 1961; Aug. 23, 1961], Nos. 20118/61 and 30362/61. Heading F1R [Also in Division B8] Apparatus for containing and dispensing liquids liable to frothing, e.g. beer, under gas or liquid pressure, comprises a container formed by parts 10, 11 clamped together, one part having a lining 12a between which and a diaphragm 12 the beer is contained. Pressure fluid enters via a bayonet coupling 28a incorporating a check valve, and the beer is delivered via a coupling and check valve 26a to a tap 27. When filling the container, fluid is first introduced through coupling 28a to create a back pressure, a pressure relief valve then being fitted to release the pressure as the beer is introduced to the other side of the diaphragm.
