[Class 20 (ii).] A joint between the ends of beams, joists, and the like, and of the kind described in Specification 407,456, is formed by channel-shaped jointing members D secured to the ends of the beams, the abutting faces of these members being grooved to receive cross-bolts J. These cross-bolts also pass through clip plates H which embrace the webs of the jointing members and prevent separation of the ends of the beams. Specification 408,720 also is referred to.
