[Class 40 (iii).] A filter for a lightsensitive cell employed in connection with light of prescribed wavelengths is constituted by the support on which the light-sensitive material is carried. The cell is enclosed in a casing c having an opening e' through which light passes, and a plate a of coloured glass permits the passage of red and infra-red rays only to a layer b of thallium sulphide carried on the plate and in contact with electrodes c, d connected to terminals f, g of the cell.
