338,555. Banister, A. Aug. 20, 1929. Spectacle lenses. - In the manufacture of bifocal lenses, a layer of non-splinterable flexible material is interposed between the double lens 1, 2 and a covering glass 4. The material 3 is of the kind employed in the production of non-splinterable glass plates and may consist of a mixture of cellulose acetate, glucose and acetone oil. Specification 10773/99 is referred to.
