Abstract
836,354. Measuring reflection. NATIONAL RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION. Feb. 28, 1957 [Nov. 29, 1955], No. 34179/55. Class 40 (3). In a photometer for measuring the efficiency of a reflex reflector, light from a source S passes through a small hole E, a half-silvered mirror M and a collimating lens D to the reflector R from which it is returned through the lens D and reflected by the mirror M on to a photo-cell P, the hole E and a hole G in front of the photo-cell P being at the focal distance from the lens D. A light chopper C and a filter F may be provided. Back reflection from the mirror M may be absorbed by a surface LA.
