[Class 40 (iii)] [See also Group XX] An exposure meter incorporating a lightsensitive cell is provided with prisms or prismatic elements for totally reflecting away from the cell all light falling thereon at more than a certain angle of incidence. A plate having straight or circular rows of elements of pyramidal, conical, or roof-like form may be arranged over the sensitive layer of the cell. Rays falling on such a plate at a angle greater than the critical angle for the material of the plate, which may be of glass or other transparent material, are totally reflected thereby.
