Abstract

1321697 Exposure meters SANGAMO WESTON Ltd 16 Nov 1971 [16 Nov 1970] 54452/70 Heading G2A An optical attachment for a photo-electric exposure meter to enable the latter to receive both light incident on and light reflected from a subject comprises a clear plastics or glass prism 10, Figs. 2 and 3, in a light-tight cover 18 which may be wholly or in part reflective, the incident light being received through a translucent diffusing hemispherical member 22 and the reflected light through a rectangular viewing face 20 shielded from the upper part of the field of vision by a part of the cover 18. Both light beams emerge from a face 12 of the prism after the incident light has been deflected through 180 degrees. The attachment is provided adjacent the face 12 with means 14, 16 for securing the meter.
