Abstract

399,610. Bicycle-chain lubricators. SPHERE MOTOR PATENTS, Ltd. and WALSTER, J., High Street, Epworth, Doncaster. June 13, 1932, No. 16625. [Class 12 (iii).] A bicycle chain is lubricated by a wick E of woven cotton material fitted in a tube A projecting from an oil vessel D fixed to the bicyclechain guard or case. The amount of lubricant supplied to the wick E is controlled by a sleeve B screwed upon the tube A and adapted to vary the opening through a radial hole C in the tube A. Specifications 9036/93, 13363/96, [both in Class 12, Bearings &c.], and 201,376, [Class 12 (iii), Lubricators &c.], are referred to.
