[Class 12 (iii)] [Also in Group XXVIII] A ball or roller bearing 21 is filled with lubricant by fitting it between conical faces formed on the end 9 of a grease chamber 5 and on a nut 15. The latter is threaded on a rod 12 carried by a piston 14 in the container 5. As the nut 15 is rotated grease in the container 5 is forced through a hole 11 in the top of the container to the bearing.
