Abstract

215,990. Reich, E. June 13, 1923. Force - feed lubricators. - Lubricant is supplied to passages 3, 4 in a lubricating-bolt 1 by a spring-supported piston 7 threaded into a hollow extension 2 of the bolt. The piston slides on a rod 6 of square crosssection fixed to a cap 5 having a smooth bore covering the extension 2. By rotating the cap 5, the piston is moved up or down in the extension. An annular recess may be formed in the cap to receive the upper end of the extension.
