Abstract

209,308. Boyce, H. H. Jan. 30, 1923. Channels and reservoirs in Bowden-wire mechanism.-A lubricator for Bowden or like cables comprises a sleeve 1 through which the cable 11 passes, the sleeve having an enlarged bore 2 to hold lubricant, the end walls 7, 8 forming abutments for the ends 5, 6 of the cable casing which are screwed into the ends of the sleeve. Lubricant is introduced into the chamber 2 through a hole 12 closed by a spring clip 13. The lubricator is arranged at the highest point of the cable.
