187,097. Oudebroekx, F. Sept. 6, 1921. Gravity-feed lubricators for connecting-rod ends &c. A body 1 with a shank 2 is screwed into an oil reservoir carried by the connecting-rod end. The shank has a central passage 3 into the upper part of which is screwed the shank 5 of a cap 6. The chamber 9 enclosed between the cap 6 and the body 1 communicates with the oil reservoir, by openings 8. By movement of the connecting- rod end oil is projected from the reservoir into the chamber 9 through the openings 8 and passes to the passage 3 through grooves 10 on the stem 5. Alternatively, the grooves 10 may extend only as far as radial passages 11 connecting with a central passage 12 in the stem 5.
