Channels and reservoirs in plug cocks.-In a plug cock having a lubricant chamber i formed in the body a beneath the smaller end of the plug b, to which chamber lubricant is supplied through longitudinal grooves h between the plug and the body, the grooves h lead from an annular groove g partly surrounding the upper end of the plug, the groove g being supplied with lubricant through a passage g<1> in the body from a lubricant chamber j by a screwed plunger k. A non-return valve l is arranged in a hollow ported fitting o held in the lower part of the chamber j. The grooves g, h may be formed in either the body or the plug.
