Abstract
399,365. Centrifugal air - cleaners. LœDKE, F., 1315, Avenida del Campo, Buenoes Aires. Jan. 23, 1933, No. 2170. [Class 23.] A ventilating-apparatus which cleans the air passing through it, has a centrifugal impeller B in a volute casing A which also contains stationary blades D. Air enters the inlet K and is discharged through the outlet A4 while the impurities are thrown outwards between the blades D and pass down to the collecting chamber.A<3> ; they are carried from this chamber to the outlet J by water supplied through the pipe H. A channel E controlled by a damper G controls the flow of air from the chamber A<3> back to the main stream. The apparatus may have two or more stages each having an impeller.
