Abstract

396,925. Loud-speakers. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., Magnet House, Kingsway, London, and EDEN, E. M., c/o General Electric Co., Wembley, Middlesex. July 5, 1932, No. 19011. [Class 40 (iv).] An elastic member controlling the vibrations of the diaphragm 4 of a moving coil loud-speaker comprises a slightly dished central annular portion 1 and resilient arms 2, the portion 1 being rigidly attached to the diaphragm or to the coil former 7 and the arms being bent over, as shown in Fig. 3, and their ends secured by nuts 10 to a rod 5 carried by the centre magnet pole 6.
