Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a thin-gage and compact design for the motorized speaker without lowering the performance, by distributing the diaphragm, the permanent magnet and the yoke each in such way that the area where those parts mentioned above may overlap in terms of plane and that the diaphragm may be held between the permanent magnet and the yoke. CONSTITUTION:Permanent magnet 2 is made to overlap diaphragm 5 winding round voice coil 4 plus yoke 3 possessing the center pole in terms of plane. At the same time, diaphragm 5 is located so as to be held between magnet 2 and yoke 3. On the other hand, frame 7 contains packing 8 to press and fix diaphragm 5 to yoke 3, and small holes 9 are drilled to yoke 3 in order to form the Helmholtz resonator.
