Feb. 2, 1932, No. 3124. [Class 123 (i).] The height of the water in an electric water heater is regulated by an outlet arrangement consisting of a casing M provided with a helical slot M<1> and an inner sleeve N provided with a straight slot N<1>, an outlet P being provided from the interior of the members. Rotation of the sleeve N by an electric motor J<1> or by a handwheel regulates the height at which liquid can pass through the ports M<1>, N<1> and reach the outlet P.
