Abstract

The heat exchanger has an outer tank with fluid inlet connections from a single main and outlet connections. The secondary coil is wound spirally and fitted in sleeve so as to isolate it completely from the tank. The sleeve is vented at the top and has a drain at the bottom. In the event of leakage from the secondary coil or the sleeve, the fluids will drain through the hole and not mix.
