Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce fuel consumption ratios of a bath boiler by a method wherein at the outlet and the inlet part of the heated water within a bathtub and of the upper and the lower connecting pipe there is provided a preventive for counterflow to stop the heated water in the bathtub from blowing backward and the temperature of the heated water is prevented from dropping.
CONSTITUTION: On the outer wall of a bathtub C, the upper and the lower connecting pipe (f), (g) are fixed through outer joints 1, 1' to connect the boiler (b) with the bathtub C. The body case 5 of an upper counter flow stopper A and the body case 6 of a lower counterflow stopper B are directly connected respectively with inner joints 3, 3' and the heated water comes into and out of the bathtub C through these inner parts. At the inner part of the case 5 a counterflow stop plate 8 is fixed and closes the hole that the case 5 connects with a joint hole of the inner joint 3, while a counterflow stop plate 8' is fixed to the case 6 and closes the hole the case 6 opens to the bathtub.
