Addition to 305,958, [Class 137, Ventilation], and 377,919.- [Classes 25 and 137.] In modified forms of the extractor ventilator described in the parent Specifications, drainage openings 19 protected by lips or flanges 6a are provided in the bottom of the outer air spaces or channels 20 and the top of the inverted U-shaped cowl 11 is formed with a movable or sliding section to enable access to be had to the interior of the cowl. The sliding section is provided with a handle 25. The extractor is also shown as applied to the coping of a cavity wall which forms an uptake flue.
