Nov. 8, 1932, No. 31536. Convention date, Nov. 11, 1931. [Class 99 (i).] A transformer radiator comprises sheet-metal headers 10, 11 connected by thinwalled seamless tubes 12, the headers being provided with openings having flanged edges 13 to which the ends 17 of the tubes are welded. The ends of the tubes are reduced in diameter and have their wall thickness increased simultaneously by swaging, prior to assembly.
