386,413. Tube joints. CLAYTON DEWANDRE CO., Ltd., Titanic Works, Lincoln, and PAYNE, M., 50, Hook Road, Surbiton, Surrey. Dec. 10, 1931, No. 34300. [Class 99 (i).] An air-heater for buildings comprises a casing with two triangular or sector-shaped endplates 1 of sheet metal, one or both of the inclined walls of which is formed by a series of heatradiating tubes or elements 7 attached to and extending between the plates. Hot water is fed by headers 8, 9 and tubes 8<a>, 9<a> to the tubes 7, which may be wound with wire. The headers are formed with flange openings into which the ends of the tubes are fitted, the joints being secured by silver soldering.
