389,166. Steering trailer vehicles. MARSTON, E. C., 19, Lightbody Street, Liverpool. Oct. 17, 1931, No. 28886. [Classes 79 (iii) and 79 (v).] In a tractor-trailer combination in which the tractor 3 and trailer 7 have turntables 2, 6 supporting the load 1, the element 13 of the trailer turntable which is movable relatively to the trailer frame about a central pivot is connected, as by links 11, 12 to a centrally-pivoted axle 10 situated in front of the element 13. The links 11, 12 or cables may be connected, as shown, to the ends of the axle 10 or may be connected to a turntable 14 of this axle. According to the Provisional Specification, the invention may be applied to a pair of fourwheeled rail trucks.
