[Class 120 (ii).] In drawing - apparatus for spinning-machines of the kind wherein two top or press rollers e are arranged in juxtaposition over a drawing roller a and are surmounted by a clearer roller f, the top and clearer rollers are mounted in saddle-shaped bearing members c adapted to embrace the supporting arms b, the side plates of each member having parallel grooves d wherein the shaft ends of the rollers are loosely guided. Each member c is secured on a guide plate g, lugs h on which engage in grooves in the arm b, by a screw i passing through an elongated slot k, and a screw m passing through an elongated slot o in an extension p of the bearing member. The guide-plate g may have an extension n which is secured to the supporting arm in a similar manner. The bearing members situated at the ends of the machine only have grooves on one side. The press rollers have annular helically or otherwise shaped ribs.
