Abstract

385,053. Endless - belt conveyers. MAVOR & COULSON, Ltd. and THOMSON, J., 47, Broad Street, Mile End, Glasgow. Oct. 9, 1931, No. 28093. [Class 78 (i).] In an extensible conveyer the lower run 7 is protected by sections of inverted troughing which are assembled in telescopic association and which support the troughing rollers 2a, 2b for the upper run. A section 12 carrying a roller set 2a extends from a sled carriage 9 and is provided at its remote end with a strap 13 having supporting feet 14. A section 15 carrying two roller sets 2b extends from a sled carriage 10 over the section 12 and has blocks 19, Fig. 3, on its underside which in conjunction with blocks 18 on the section 12 limit the relative movement of the sections. The sections may be guided during movement by interengaging members 20, 21. Specification 330,700 [Class 78 (i), Conveyers &c.], is referred to.
