Abstract

752,816. Conveyers. HESSLING, H. W. Feb. 26, 1954, No. 5645/54. Class 78 (1). Apparatus for loading sacks, bags and the like into vehicles comprises a belt conveyer 8 pivotally mounted on a horizontal axis at 15 and supported at its upper end by rollers 10 on stays 9 engaging a track 7 on a belt conveyer 2. This latter conveyer is rotatably mounted about a vertical axis on the platform of a hydraulic lift 1 and is displaceable horizontally on this platform by rails 3 running on platform rollers 4. The sacks are fed by the conveyer 2 to a take-off platform 5 rigid with this conveyer. A push button for operating the lift 1 is preferably mounted on the discharge end of the conveyer 2 or on the platform 5. In a modification (Fig. 3, not shown), the conveyers 2, 8 consist of driven roller conveyers.
