Abstract
337,129. Mavor & Coulson, Ltd., and Thomson, J. Sept. 12, 1929. Portable endless-belt conveyers; casings; adjustably supporting.-A loader conveyer particularly for use in mines to receive coal at one end and convey and elevate it for discharge into tubs at the other end comprises a main portion A, a receiving end portion B and a run of belting C common to the two portions, the portions A, B being connected together at 2 and movable relatively, and the portion A having wheels 3 and the portion B having a roller 4 or skid so that it may run on the ground or on the rails provided for the portion A. The jib 13 may be adjusted angularly about a horizontal axis 14 by screw ties 15. The lower run of the belt may be protected by inverted troughing as described in Specifications 285,627 and 299,218.
