Sectional and like framework for endless-belt conveyers ; anti-fouling guard's. - Endless-belt conveyers for removing coal from the working face &c. of the kind which are built up where required for use by assemblage longitudinally of separate units and which have a single run of belting to operate between the receiving and delivery positions, are made capable of variation in length while installed. The conveyer passes round drums 4 - - 7, the distances between which can be varied. If the drums 4, 5 are moved towards or away from each other, the drums 6, 7 are separated or brought nearer to each other in order to maintain the tension of the belt. The lower run is protected by a roofing E which may be of the kind described in Specifications 2S5,627 and 299,218 and supported by pedestals which rest on the floor. The roofing E is detachably connected to a skid 8 on which are mounted the delivery end of a loader D and the drum 4. The receiving end of the loader D is mounted on a skid 9.
