Abstract

477,144. Endless - belt conveyers. JENNER, C. E. June 29, 1937, No. 18078. [Class 78 (i)] Articles are transferred from an endless-belt conveyer 1 to another endless-belt conveyer 2, or stationary receiving surface, arranged at an angle thereto by a series of tapered rollers 3 which are connected in pairs by a succession of short endless rubber driving belts 13a, 14a, of circular cross-section. The end roller is driven from the shaft 8 of the drum 9 of the conveyer 1 by chain-and-sprocket gearing 11. A panel (not shown) is placed beneath the rollers to receive articles which may fall between them.
