774,972. Endless belt conveyers. COAL INDUSTRY (PATENTS), Ltd. April 15, 1953 [April 15, 1952], No. 36595/54. Divided out of 774,971. Drawings to Specification. Class 78 (1). In a belt conveyer of the kind in which the belt is carried on supporting cables to which a drive is imparted there are provided two main driving cable circuits spaced from one another longitudinally of the conveyer by a gap which is short relative to the lengths of the main cables, and an auxiliary endless cable partly overlapping the run of each of the main cables and being arranged to support the belt over the gap, each of the main and auxiliary cables being engageable by jaws secured to the belt. The embodiment disclosed is identical with the construction disclosed in the original Specification with reference to Figs. 1, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of the drawings of the latter Specification.
