383,390. Pivoted window and ventilator regulators. TONKS, W. H. and SPARKS, W., 201, Moseley Street, Birmingham. Oct. 28, 1931, No. 29866. [Classes 20 (iii) and 137.] A pivoted window is operated by means of a pulley or the like on the sash or frame and a link h eccentrically connected thereto and to a bracket g on the frame or sash. The actuating cord is attached to a pin d in the pulley. A stop-pin i in one of the holes j, k limits the opening movement of the pulley and a V-shaped edge on the link h adapted to engage the pulley bracket b limits the closing movement. The pivots of the link h and the pulley are arranged to lie approximately in line in the opened and closed positions. The bracket g may be attached by screws through the base or side to the frame. Specification 19385/10, [Class 20 (iii), Doors &c.], is referred to.
