Abstract

344,518. Casement windows. SHAW, G. R., 8, Wigmore Street, London. Dec. 9, 1929, No. 37685. [Class 20 (iii).] Casement window-sashes 4, 5, are adapted to rest against an inner mullion 8 in planes inclined to each other when closed and to abut when partially opened for ventilation as shown in dotted lines. A stop-plate 9 is provided on one sash to overlap the joint when partially opened. The frame 3 to which the sashes are hinged is mounted on the outside of the wall opening and provided with inclined rebates and the mullion 8 tapers towards the outside.
