Feb. 2, 1935, No. 3490. [Classes 20 (iii) and 137] A pivoted-sliding sash 11, or sashes, is hinged at one edge to one, or both, of the pivoted sashes 1, 2, of the kind which are connected by links 6 pivoted to the frame and slidably pivoted to the sashes. The pivots 12 of the sash 11 may work in slots or between flanges of the frame and a wedge 15 may be provided to cause a tight closing movement. Handles 9 may be provided on the lower of the pivoted sashes.
