542,901. Windows. ASTLEY, E. T. May 21, 1941, No. 6495. [Class 20 (iii)] Window-sashes rotatable on vertical trunnions B are secured in the closed position by the relative movement of two-part frame members 4, 6 having complementary cam surfaces 5 and mounted in each edge of the frame. Each inner part or style 6 is provided with a resilient strip of rubber or the like 10 for engaging the grooved side of the window 3. The members 4, 6 are connected by one or more links 7 movable by a turnkey or handle 9. The top and bottom edges may be similarly fitted, or may be connected to the side members by mushroom-headed pin-andslot connections 12.
