Abstract

395,125. Window fastenings &c. SMITH, F. C., 18, Bournevale Road, Streatham, London. April 29, 1932, Nos. 12349 and 21841. Addition to 367,730. [Classes 44 and 65 (i).] A window is held closed or allowed to open to a limited extent by a chain one end of which is engaged with a slotted plate on the window while the other end is slidable on a bar on the window frame. For a casement window, the chain is arranged at the hinged side of the window and co-operates with a flanged plate A and a bar B. For a sliding window, the chain co-operates with the bar B and a plate as shown in Fig. 1 of the parent Specification.
