Abstract
427,819. Fastenings. BLOOMFIELD, J. H., 11, Mayfield Road, Bickley, Kent. Nov. 2, 1933, No. 30455. [Class 44] A fastening for doubletrack sliding doors or frames comprises a bar constituted by two members B, C hinged together, the member C being pivoted to the edge of one door or frame and being adapted to project into a slot D on the face of the other door or frame, and the member B being capable of being moved on its hinge and secured to the face of the door or frame. The pivot for the member C is mounted on the bent end of a strap H secured to the face of the door and provided with a staple H<1> for engaging a slot B<1> in the member B. The slot D is preferably tapered and formed in a plate secured to the face of the door or frame.
