[Class 65 (i)] A buffer for a sliding door comprises a U-shaped member a fixed by flanges b to the door edge or jamb and co-operating with a resilient member d, f, fixed to a rigid channel c on the jamb or door edge. The sides f project beyond the sides of c and are turned back to form resilient lips h which close on the member a and act as buffers for the flanges b.
